At first glance, this book hardly seems appropriate for a child. If anything, it might give them nightmares that a crocodile is trying to eat them! On the other hand, it could be a tool that parents use to keep their unruly children in line; just read this to them as a warning when they misbehave.

However, it turns out to be an adorable, entirely kid-appropriate tale about a young crocodile tired of eating his everyday meal of bananas, so he sets off to fulfill his true purpose and become a proper vicious crocodile. However, the little girl he encounters has other plans; she wants to tickle his tummy. Awww!
