Yeah, Daylight Savings seems to have that effect. You’re just not encouraged to go out as much in winter when it’s cold and dark so much. It’s nature’s way of saying, “Maybe just stay in and hibernate? Could be fun.” And who can argue with that logic when it’s dark enough to be midnight at dinner time?

The world outside the window might as well be saying, “The day is over, go put on your pajamas.” But alas, the clock heartlessly reminds us that it’s barely evening, and we’ve still got hours of darkness to navigate before bedtime.
