#21: The Wind Would Like to Have a Word
It really makes you wonder how your hair ends up such a disaster. It’s the wind, mostly, and the snow and sleet, as it gets wet, is whipped around, and dries like that. Can’t my hair just flow dramatically in the wind the way I want it to? There’s the dream: walking out into the winter wonderland, hair cascading down like a storybook princess.
Then there’s the reality: stepping outside and instantly becoming the unwilling participant in a hair-tangling contest. You’ve got strands in your lip gloss, an unintentional static halo, and let’s not even talk about the dreaded scarf-snarl. It’s a full-on mane rebellion. Maybe, just maybe, one day we’ll master the art of the winter hair flip—until then, it’s beanies to the rescue!
