Being a woman can be awesome. Let’s face it—we have the greatest friendships, the best style, tons of creativity, and emotional maturity, and let’s just say sometimes we get things a little bit faster than the men around us. But being a woman is also hard, and society has never made it any easier for us. We have to deal with everything from monthly physical pains (you all know what I’m talking about) to the patriarchy, and sometimes laughter is just the best way to cope with it all. For this purpose, people across the web (mostly women, we assume) shared funny memes and tweets that perfectly depict the daily realities of the female experience.
What’s Up With Mannequins?

And if Photoshop and unrealistic model diets weren’t bad enough, there’s nothing like seeing something that looks great on the mannequin and then getting into the dressing room and wondering what happened.
The question is, though—is this really that much less realistic than a lot of the body standards we have to deal with? I mean, ok, no one’s arm is quite like that, but how do we know this isn’t just another way to make us feel bad about ourselves whenever we look in the mirror?
