We are all capable of learning from our mistakes, right? Most of us can immediately recall a few stupid missteps we’ve made in the past, regardless of whether they’re funny or awful. Even if we learn and grow, some blunders haunt us. The embarrassment can follow us around like a ghost for quite some time. And this r/AskReddit thread is a goldmine of stupid mistakes. Miscommunication
We have all experienced that awkward moment when you misunderstand someone. It can be a slight miscommunication with a co-worker that will leave you laughing about it for days, but sometimes it can have serious consequences. This person experienced such a brain fart when they were a kid that it’s still haunting them to this day.
Imagine caring for your child and doing your best to raise them, only for them to throw your phone book out of the window of a moving car – and they said parenting isn’t hard. Even though this person was probably grounded for life, I’m glad they found a way to laugh about it years later. This is another proof that finding humor in all situations of life is the way to go.
