You can shine the light in someone’s eyes, but you can’t force them to see it. Some people have everything and still can’t seem to utilize it to their benefit. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she probably wasn’t taught the proper life skills to reach a career like this, but thinking you are middle-class growing up like this is absurd.

Some people like to live in a state of perpetual victimhood. We all have our challenges and roadblocks in life; we all get set back sometimes and miss an opportunity to shine to our full potential. But the beautiful thing is, so long as we are still alive, it is never too late to try and turn that around.
