Coming Like a Wrecking Ball
If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen Miley Cyrus everywhere on social media recently. Besides what most of us might think, Miley is not only a singer; the pop star also writes her own songs! Many songwriters are known to draw inspiration from their own lives when writing new songs. Their inspiration might come from world events or their own personal experience, and it seems the Tennessee singer took a little too much inspiration from her personal love life in her recent album.
Released in 2013, her song “Wrecking Ball” was the first of her career to be on the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Ten years later, she came out with the single “Flowers,” and it became a hit! The song is for the third week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Coincidentally, both songs seem to be dedicated to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth and their controversial relationship.
