5 Tips if you Want to Wear Makeup in the Sun

With the right products, it’s actually better to use makeup than not to stay in the sun, according to the skin expert.
Many people believe that it can be harmful to the skin to stay in the sun in full makeup, but the fact is that it is sometimes preferable – if you use the right products.

Mineral makeup usually contains UVA and UVB protection, which is an advantage because it is natural, physical sun protection that reflects off the sun’s rays.

Unlike traditional makeup, mineral products settle on the surface and do not go down the pores, even if you sweat.

The mineral base should contain zinc and titanium oxide, preferably in a smooth powder form that you can apply regularly during the day.

The most important thing is to reapply your base every two hours. However, few really do.

When it comes to eyelashes, a mascara not only gives your lashes that little extra – the color also makes your own lashes not bleached by the sun.

If you want to paint your lips, there are a few things to keep in mind.

– Many use lip gloss, but both gloss and shimmer attract the sun’s rays. It is much like lubricating the body with sun oil. If you want to wear something on your lips, you should have a product that contains sunscreen.

The skin expert’s best tips for those who want to wear makeup in the sun:

1. Choose the right base

Mineral products containing the natural school protections zinc and titanium oxide are always preferred. Choose a product with at least SPF 30, but preferably more. Most mineral products have SPF between 8 and 15, but you should always have at least 30 on your face.

2. Repeat

Re-apply the mineral base every two hours for complete protection. You do not need to stay in the sun to take advantage of it. UVA rays, for example, penetrate glass and are equally powerful all year round.

3. Cover

Wear makeup rather than nothing if you are going to stay in the sun, as it protects the skin. But keep in mind that it is not all makeup. Choose a good product with a sun protection factor.

4. Protect your lips

Burning the lips is not something you want to do. Make sure to protect them with a sun pin, cereal or a lip gloss with sun protection in.

5. Don’t forget your hands

Your hands are exposed to rays all the time, whether you sit outdoors and press in the sun or drive. Don’t forget to lubricate them.
