#9: An Attitude of Gratitude
The holidays can be a tough time for people who are struggling. There’s an expectation about large meals and gift-giving, and if you can’t afford to give your family all of that, that could really make you feel bad. I think that’s why the holiday season brings out the best in a lot of people who donate their time and money to making sure people have great holiday experiences.
However, apparently, the holidays bring out the worst in other people, like this person who was given a free Thanksgiving dinner by a local church and left a review complaining that the turkey was too small. I have a suggestion for this person: It’s Thanksgiving, the holiday of gratitude. Just be grateful that someone was kind enough to give you a turkey for free.
