#44: The Royal Canadian Pancake Houses
The Royal Canadian Pancake House was definitely one for the ages. It was a chain of New York pancake houses named after America’s neighbor to the north (who knows something about pancakes and maple syrup). Interestingly enough, very little (if anything) about the restaurant’s menu had anything to do with Canuck cuisine.

It wasn’t IHOP, but if you were after a pancake the size of a small kitchen table, The Royal Canadian Pancake House would have had you covered. If not, don’t stress. They also specialize in a waffle topped with an omelet, if you will.
