#13: The Girl From Petrovka
Apparently, The Girl From Petrovka had some serious production issues… Rumor has it that Anthony Hopkins and the director, Robert Ellis Miller, didn’t get along. In fact, Hopkins reportedly called Miller a “boring fart” and a “dull fellow.” If that’s not a ringing endorsement for a movie, I don’t know what is!

They also shot the film on location in Moscow, but apparently, the Russian government wasn’t too thrilled about it. They allegedly demanded that the producers give them a copy of the film before it was released to ensure it didn’t contain any anti-Soviet propaganda. After all, who wants to be the subject of a bad movie?
