34. Finding the Good Samaritans
One of the best experiences I’ve found continuously cropping up while traveling is discovering the extent of kindness you may find in strangers. It’s the only thing you’ll see in an increasingly uncomfortable situation where you’re desperate enough that someone takes pity.

It is, unfortunately, not something you can really prepare for and usually comes from stupid decisions and ends up being horrendously uncomfortable. It’s a shame, too; it’s a good way to have your hope in humanity restored. Maybe we should just embrace uncomfortable experiences a bit more.
