In his peak during the ’70s and ’80s, Rocky Lockridge was a celebrated boxing champion. However, his career took a downturn, leading to a two-decade-long battle with drug addiction. His struggles, he revealed, began with post-fight celebrations that spiraled out of control.
Financially depleted and physically impaired, Lockridge’s later years were marked by homelessness and health issues. A stroke, which left him with a noticeable physical imbalance, culminated in his demise at 60, ending a life starkly contrasted by its victorious beginnings.
