Facts and tips on facial cleansing
Every day your face is exposed to stress such as sun, wind, dust and dirt. Therefore, it is important to take care of your skin every day. When you cleanse your skin, you allow the pores to breathe and remove excess fat that might otherwise clog and give off, for example, pimples. For even deeper cleansing, you can also use exfoliating, it removes dead skin cells and gives the skin new shine.
Step 1: Cleaning and Facial Water
Start with your cleaning product (milk, gel or mousse) and rinse with lukewarm water. Continue with a facial water that moisturizes and balances the skin. Then you also get rid of the last makeup remnants. Moisten a cotton pad with face water and sweep all over the face. Remember the skin closest to the hairline. The face water should not be rinsed off.
Step 2: Remember to moisturize
After the face water, it is time to moisturize the skin. You can start with a serum that is applied during your day or night cream. A serum acts in depth and prepares the skin for moisturizing.
Then use a day or night cream tailored to your skin type. A day cream is lighter, reduces dryness lines and protects against external stress. A night cream usually contains more nourishment and active ingredients that repair and rebuild the skin during the night. Use a special eye cream to moisturize the sensitive skin around the eyes. Dutt with your fingers to work in the eye cream.
Choose the right cleaning for dry or sensitive skin
Dry skin feels good from extra moisture and fat. Use products with a creamy texture that feel comfortable on the skin, such as cleansing lotion or oil. Avoid excessive cleaning products. Sensitive skin needs to be protected from the sun and it is a good idea to use mild products that do not increase blood circulation. If you have eczema or rosacea, there are special products that are adapted for this.
Choose the right cleaning for normal skin or blend skin
Mixed skin is the most common skin type. Often the t-zone (forehead, nose, chin) is glossy, but not cheeks. Because different areas have different needs, it is difficult to treat the entire face with the same product. You can use mixed skin cleansing as a foundation, but you may want to supplement with specific products in the drier or greasy areas.
Choose the right cleanser for oily skin
Are you often glossy all over your face? Then choose a cleaner for fatter skin. Although the skin may feel oily, it is important not to dry it out. On the contrary, it is important to moisturize properly to balance the skin’s fat production. Feel free to use light cream, gel or facial water that cleans in-depth without being too strong.
