Creative Engineering Solutions Created by Ordinary People

If your room has a drop ceiling and is finished with thin ceiling panels, you know how flimsy and unsubstantial those ceiling tiles can be. They can break pretty easily and are highly prone to staining. If you ever need to remove one to get to your ducts, you’ll know how easy they are to break. Sadly, it’s a fire hazard to leave the ceiling unfinished.

This person found a super creative and inexpensive solution! He made a color photocopy of one of the other ceiling tiles and pasted it onto some cardboard. You can’t even tell the difference! Let’s just hope for the sake of safety that this was only a temporary solution and that he’ll get a safer tile in place ASAP.
