#5: Be Prepared for Anything
Auditioning is a skill that takes time and practice to master, and it probably takes hundreds of auditions before you learn how to come prepared for absolutely any scenario. Luckily for her, Emma Stone learned this at a very young age. Unluckily for her, it sounds like she learned it the hard way back when she was first getting started in the industry.
Emma said the only character she could come up with in addition to the ‘Possessed Babysitter’ was ‘The Cheerleader Who Couldn’t Spell What She Was Cheering.’ While Emma didn’t get the callback, she has gone on to have an incredible career that has won her both an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Her comedy chops have also stayed strong, making her a favorite at SNL, where she is already a 4-time host.
