#21: Not the Right Fit
One of the most bitter pills for an actor to swallow is just barely losing out on a role to someone else. They nailed the audition, the casting directors loved them, and just as they start to see their name on a marquee in big, flashing lights… they lose the role to someone else.
Honestly, we can’t see John Krasinski as Captain America; for us, he’ll always be Jim Halpert, and it seems like that role was destined for someone else. Following this, he went on to direct and star in the critically acclaimed A Quiet Place and still found himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Mr. Fantastic.
