#18: Stunt Casting
When directors are looking for a particular look, actors will often walk into an audition room only to see it filled with people that look just like them. The need to stand out and make an impact can lead some actors to go to great lengths to land the role. Anthony Anderson took that to the next level.
Fighting the urge to do something crazy to stand out is probably difficult, but casting directors probably didn’t like dealing with those antics after a long day. Luckily, Anthony started relying on his talents and not stunts, and he quickly started landing roles.
