#14: Setting Boundaries
Every actor needs to know their boundaries when assessing a script. Whether it be on the grounds of subject matter or dialogue, it’s important to have boundaries in what you deem appropriate for yourself. Whether it’s nudity or racy language that makes your cheeks turn flushed just reading it, you have to keep true to yourself. Lucy Hale knows all about this.

In Lucy’s defense, most people might find themselves blushing reading 50 Shades of Grey. While it may be tempting to take on any project when you are starting out and hungry for fame, If a script has content that makes you uncomfortable, don’t take the role! Lucy found huge fame in Pretty Little Liars, and she didn’t have to compromise her values.
