Something you should definitely not do is sleep with makeup as it can ruin your skin. If you do not have makeup removal/cleansing at home, there are lots of things you have in the refrigerator that work just as well, and sometimes even better.
No matter how tired you are when you get home, it is important to wash your makeup. If you have run out of make-up removal, you should definitely not use regular soap as it can dry out your skin. Fortunately, there are other things you can use, and even switch to makeup removal.
1. Avocado
Avocado sounds unexpected but actually works great! Take a piece of cotton or similar and rub it against a cut avocado and then use the tops to remove the mascara and eyeliner.
2. Coconut oil
Coconut oil is fantastic because you can use it in so many different ways. Put a little on a cotton swab and wash away your makeup. Afterwards, your skin will smell good and be moisturized.
3. Olive oil
Olive oil is perfect as a makeup remover for those who have dry skin. Dot a little on a cotton swab and then just rub the makeup off.
4. Aloe vera
If you have oily skin, Aloe vera is a great alternative to makeup removal as it does not make your skin greasy. Put on a cotton swab and gently rub away your makeup.
